Characteristic and Features for Each Natural Fibre

Woven Bamboo and Jute Shade is a window treatment shade woven with combination natural materials.

The woven materials are blended with natural fibres such as Bamboo, Jute, Flax, Kenaf, Ramie and or other natural fibres. They are made of natural fibres so the woven blinds are organic blinds, 100% biodegradable with environmentally friendly.

These natural fibres are one of the oldest fibre crops, having been used for fabric production around 3000 – 9000 years.

These vegetable crops are growing very quickly and have harvest 3–4 times or 5–6 times in a year. So they can meet growing demand in the market today due to people returning to ancient taste and environment required.

Each fibre has their individual characteristic and features. We have taken these characteristic and features of each fibre to make unique design for window shade.

Bamboo has a higher specific compressive strength than wood, brick or concrete, and a specific tensile strength that rivals steel.

Bamboo is flexibility, hardness, durable, low thermal conductivity.

Blinds made of Bamboo materials which is used raw bamboo in thin and fine strips. The bamboo strips are stiff fibres.

It is one of the most affordable natural fibres, and the second most important vegetable fibre only to cotton in the amount produced and variety of uses.

The natural fibre with golden and silky shine and hence it is called The Golden Fibre.

It has high tensile strength, low extensibility, and ensures better breathability of fabrics.

Sound and heat insulation and anti-static properties, as well as having low thermal conductivity and a moderate moisture regain, no skin irritations which are the wise choice for window shades.

Also it is UV protection.

Jute can be blended with fibres, both synthetic and natural, and helps to make top quality textile fabrics.

Textile made from flax are known in the Western countries as Linen.

Flax fibres taken from the stem of the plant are two to three times as strong as cotton fibres. Additionally, flax fibres are naturally smooth and straight.

Flax fibre is soft, lustrous, and flexible; bundles of fibre have the appearance of blonder hair, hence the description "flaxen" hair.

Linen is very strong, durable, smooth, breathability, absorbent and dries faster than cotton.

Linen fabric feels cool to touch, which indicates its lower conductivity.

Linen fabrics have a high natural lustre, their natural color ranges between shades of ivory, ecru, tan, or grey. And it is easy to dye.

Flax fibre can be blended with other materials.

UV protection, resistant dirt and stains, and antibacterial, no skin irritations are also welcome from people.

Ramie is strength, durable and resistance to bacteria and mildew but low elasticity. Normally it is blended with other textile fibres.

Ramie fibre is known for its ability to hold shape, reduce wrinkling, and has silky lustre.

It has absorbency, light weighted, breathability and low conductivity.
